FAQ?  What is Ballroom Dancing? Ballroom Dancing is partner dancing and includes the most common dances -  Usually Waltz, Foxtrot, Cha-Cha,Tango, Rumba, Swing and more .... and variations. Though is does depend on the area, Most bands and Djs playing for dancers will almost always play any one or all of the above dances. Learning to dance Ballroom is the basis for most partner dancing and yes, Ballroom does include Latin (Everybody has heard of the very popular Cha-Cha-Cha). Would you like to hear great music and dance with comfort and ease at your next office party, wedding, cruise, or maybe dine & dance at a local piano bar?  Would you like to meet new people, and dance for fitness and fun! Start Now, you will be dancing in just a few weeks. Our professional & certified instructors take great pride in teaching you to dance!

Beginner Ballroom       Best Class for Learning to Dance for Social Functions, Parties, Cruises & All
Occasions.  ~~~~ Beginner Ballroom is often a pre-requisite for learning other dances. This class includes some Latin Dancing.
For a couple getting married, a Beginner Ballroom Group Class should be in your Wedding Plan Itinerary. It's never too early

Some Swing, Cha-Cha, & Shag.  Great Practice Party!  Experience Dancing in a Dance Party Setting
without the pressure of advanced dancers whirling around the floor.  New "want -to-be"  dancers welcome!

Lessons/ Workshops  Wear Comfortable Clothing.
(No Stiletto, Kitten Heels, or shoes with heel diameters smaller than 1/2 inch -  see requirements below.
No Cowboy Boots. Dance Shoes with heel protectors ok, socks ok, street shoes ok with wide heel.
Dance Sneakers ok. Athletic shoes ok.  Ideal shoes are dance shoes.  Dance sneakers, or shoes with a
leather sole Ok.  Ask, if you are in doubt. Athletic shoes, or socks ok  are common in workshops.
    
SHOES ~~~
No stiletto, Kitten heels, or Shoes that may mar the floor.  Shoes with heel  diameters
smaller than 1/2 inch are not  allowed unless the shoes have heel protectors available
from dance shoe stores.  Our floor is made for dancing and your comfort. Strict 
adherence is essential for proper care & preservation of our floating wood dance floor.
Many dance floors look like wood but very few dance floors are true wood floors. This
wonderful "floating" wood floor makes dancing a pleasure and is so healthy for the
protection of our bodies. If you are in doubt about your shoes, please call. 

*  Group Classes are 50-55  minutes except  as noted. All classes may not be listed. Classes
Times, and Dates are subject to change  Private Lessons - Available for Couples or Singles.

~ote:  Beginner Ballroom: If you have a rotating schedule and need to alternate nights due to your changing schedule,
you may like having the option of going to Beginner Ballroom on Tues night one week, and Sunday the following week
assuming we are having a dupicate class. If you enroll in the April 5 class, you can flex with Sundays class, April 11
& visa versa.
